Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to clean up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mop I tested had great navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.
They're also easy to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This model of the highest quality is quick and agile it can remove debris such as pet hair and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.
Another notable characteristic of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode based on dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, including docks that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without you needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to set room cleaning modes and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.
It's important to note that mapping takes quite a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels and had to flip over to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is nearly identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
robot vacuum hoover is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. Its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also boasts an innovative mopping system which uses a roller continuously filled with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with a regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers on the market. It delivers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that lift these pads up when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.
The docking station functions as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their bins of dust every time they have to be cleaned.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your area which allows it to know where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike other vacuums.
It has other great notable features, like an automatic emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room in your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to reduce time. It's a great option if you have a mix of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice when you're looking for a robot that can handle regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery quicker than other models we've test.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for rooms with carpet. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as good in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
